The Royal Thai Government has announced that the Royal Cremation of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej is scheduled to be held on 25 - 29 October, 2017 at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground in Bangkok. The cremation will take place on 26 October, which has been declared a public holiday in Thailand.
Wat Phra Kaew is Thailand’s most sacred temple, so please do not wear shorts, or sandals.
Certain buildings in the Palace grounds are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
